Hi! I’m Anh
HCI Researcher
UX Designer
Systems Analyst
I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in May 2025, and I worked as an undergraduate research assistant advised by Dr. Maria Valero in the Internet of Things as a Service (IoTaS) Lab. My work is shaped by designing health and wellbeing systems that go beyond technical performance to reflect lived experience, sociocultural context, and real-world adoption, drawing on experiences with older adults managing chronic illness, young adults navigating mental health challenges, and justice-impacted youth in reintegration programs through research, prototyping, and co-design.
I am interested in advancing research at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), sociotechnical systems, and human-centered AI, with a commitment to supporting underserved, marginalized, and vulnerable populations, including older adults, college students, and minority communities. I aim to develop solutions in three areas:
Community-engaged digital mental health
Human-centered and responsible AI-based support tools
Trust, safety, and usability in sensitive health technologies
